Repairs
Most repairs can be done within the same day, usually within a matter of hours. Most repairs are done by our own staffs, who deal with this day in- day out. No forwarding your dentures to someone other than your provider.
Relines
Relining of dentures or partials is the process where the gaps, due to tissue shrinkage are minimized with a replacement process to conform to the current contours of your gums. This process involves taking impressions of your gum contours and the procedure can take up to 24 hours. This will leave you without your dentures for this time period. Should you have a spare set of dentures, bring them with you.
Relines are required when tissue changes occur due to re-absorption (shrinkage). This can be due to:
- loss of weight
- loss of teeth
- loss of bone
- ageing
- disease or illness
Relining affects only the fit of your denture and will not change the appearance.
